Tracy Nigosanti
Owner

Tracy is the owner of A Better You at Skinsations. She is a leader in aesthetics. She has been an esthetician for over 32 years. Tracy graduated from the Christine Valmy International School for Esthetic Skin Care and Make Up. It was here she fell in love with skincare and has been driven ever since. Tracy is trained in Virtue RF Microneedling, Hollywood Carbon Laser Facial, Medical Grade Diamond Head Microdermabrasion with Infusion and Medical Grade Chemical peels.

She has had extensive training in medical grade skincare products. Tracy oversees an entire esthetic team so you can achieve the ultimate outcome. She understands a spa must not only be beautiful, it must be results-driven - she loves helping others attain their best self.

Alicia Burr, APRN
Medical Director

Alicia is an APRN and started in aesthetics 17 years ago. She joined the Skinsations team in 2016 and became Medical Director in 2020. She is expert in Botox injections, fillers, cheek augmentation, jawline contouring, chin augmentation and temple hallowing.

Alicia also works at Yale New Haven Hospital in Electrophysiology. She plays golf, pickleball and is an avid walker.

Stephanie Kantzas
Spa Director

If you have been a long-time client of Tracy, you might already know Stephanie, her daughter. Our spa director has over a decade of sales and management experience throughout her years in the food service industry as well as an insurance agent. Stephanie has joined the team to continue the vision of her mother’s to transform Guilford Green’s well-known spa into a top leading medical esthetic center. She is excited to see clients that she has met over her lifetime of visiting her mother at work and looks forward to meeting new faces!

In Stephanie’s free time she enjoys exploring new restaurants, traveling, and spending time with friends, family and her dog.

Veronica Ahglrim, RN
Medical Esthetician

Veronica joined the Skinsations team in 2022. She is an RN with a 16 year esthetic background. During her career she realized her love for the art and beauty of medical esthetics. In 2021, she pursued a degree in Nursing for the purpose of fulfilling her dream as an Aesthetic RN. She graduated Cum Laude with her ADN from Goodwin University in August 2022, and is currently obtaining her BSN from Goodwin with a goal of reaching APRN. Veronica customizes her treatments to address multiple skin concerns and educate clients on how to effectively care for their skin at home. Her goal is to provide immediate and long-term corrective solutions for all skin concerns.  She is extremely driven to help clients meet, exceed and maintain their skin treatment results.

Veronica has a daughter and lives in Branford. She loves going out for brunch, shopping, and researching/trying the latest innovative advancements in the medical skincare industry. She also considers herself a professional student…she loves to constantly be learning!

Elaine David
Master Esthetician

A graduate from New York Institute of Beauty Skincare, Elaine has been in the medical esthetics field for over 10 years. Born in the Dominican Republic, Elaine has recently moved to Connecticut after residing in Long Island.

Elaine has a developed a passion for helping each one of her clients achieve their skin care goals through her years of experience with medical grade facials, dermaplaning, microdermabrasion, laser services, microneedling and more.

Elaine’s favorite service to provide to her client’s is dermaplaning, microdermabrasion and radio frequency.

Barbara Vollero
Massage Therapist

Barbara joined the Skinsations team in 2005. She has been a licensed massage therapist for over 26 years.

She graduated college with two degrees then continued on to massage school. It was here she learned the concept of “well-being” and has built on it ever since. She continued her education in craniosacral therapy, myofascial release and manual lymphatic drainage.

She is certified in medical massage and has been a Reiki Master Practitioner for over 10 years. In 2015, Barbara became Board Certified in Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork. She combines her education and experience to create a massage that is restorative, relaxing and helpful in improving mobility and decreasing pain. She also has added body wraps to her menu of services.

Barbara has given corporate and local presentations on Stress Management, Principles of Energy and Reiki theory. In her free time she enjoys playing golf, is happily married and loves riding the motorcycle with her husband.

Laurie Anastasio
Permanent Cosmetic Makeup Artist

Laurie joined the Skinsations team in 2022. She is a Licensed Tattoo Technician and specializes in brow microblading and lip blushing.

Laurie always had an interest in permanent makeup and developed a passion for helping women look and feel more beautiful, enhancing their inner beauty. She returned to school and graduated from Phibrow Academy in 2019. Laurie utilizes the most current techniques for women of any age and any skin tone. Laurie also has a Masters Degree in Science and has worked a lifetime in the medical field. She loves being a team member and developing relationships with her clients. Laurie is the mother of two sons, is happily married and resides in Guilford, CT.
